How it all started
Pop Fishers was formed to provide the resident bar at Brown Edge Halls which was an early Victorian School and has now been converted into public use. It is a licensed premises for 280 people where wedding functions and parties take place every weekend.
Mr Fisher known Locally as “Pop Fisher” was the last headmaster to live at the old Brown Edge School (some 45 years ago) and so after a suggestion by a local resident we have called our mobile bar after him.
Our ethos
Brown Edge Schools were a “model school” for Staffordshire for many years and were used to show visiting dignitaries around, so standards were high. We have wanted to retain this ethos for our Mobile Bar facility so that you are able to have the confidence that no matter where we provide a mobile bar it will;
- Cater for your particular needs
- Employ mature, polite and friendly staff
- Be safe and work within the Law
- Provide top quality beers, wines and spirits etc
- Take away any worries you have
- Provide a wine waiter service if required.
We are fully insured and are Qualified Personal License Holders and will take care of the legal obligations for your event including applying for a Temporary Event Notice and by keeping a Refusal to Serve Log etc. So whether you are holding an outdoor event such as a garden party, a wedding, a trade fayre or family occasion we can make all the arrangements and travel to you.
We are not tied to any particular pub or brewery so we have access to a wide range of specialist Beers, Lagers, Wines and Champagnes . We can arrange a wine tasting to ensure you have the appropriate wine for your particular needs. In most cases we are able to supply a choice of cask conditioned real ales.
